Meals & Services
Meals
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are offered from a set menu of hearty favourites and served buffet and family-style in the Dining Hall, second story of the General Store. Our remote island location, and associated logistics in getting supplies, dictate the need to keep our menu flexible and meals offered vary day to day and week to week.

Breakfast typically consists of a choice of hot or cold cereals, juice, coffee/tea, toast, an egg-based dish with meat, fish or home made baked beans. Our 2011 cost is $10/adult plus HST.

Fish in some form is usually offered during lunch accompanied by home made breadrolls, a selection of home made sweet breads/cookies, coffee and tea. Our 2011 cost is $15/adult plus HST.

Supper tends to be a three course offering with salad or fish cake starter, beef, chicken or turkey as entree, potatoes plus one other vegetable, a selection of home made sweet breads/cookies/pies, coffee and tea. Our 2011 cost is $20/adult plus HST.

For children age 12 and under meals costs are half the price of adult meals. Because limited supplier choices and required labour intensive tasks required to move supplies to Battle Island we are unable to offer visitors any other discounts on meals.

Fresh produce from Battle Harbour's organic kitchen garden is used in season and special diets can be accommodated with advance notice when room reservations are confirmed.

Beer is sold in our General Store along with a limited selection of wines and spirits.
