Donating Goods & Services
Donation Needs
The ongoing maintenance of the 20 restored heritage buildings making up Battle Harbour National Historic District presents both challenges and opportunities for Battle Harbour Historic Trust Inc as a not-for-profit.
Revenues are currently earned by the Battle Harbour Historic Trust Inc. during the mid June to mid September season from sales of rooms, meals, tours and General Store items. Essential funds are also raised through volunteers' annual fund raising efforts, contributions to overheads earned on site-related projects and from the generous contributions of cash, service and goods from a group affectionately known as Friends of Battle Harbour supportive visitors, guests, companies and government departments and agencies from Newfoundland and Labrador, other parts of Canada, the United States and from such distant and different shores to those of Labrador as Australia and Brazil.
BHHT Inc is however currently seeking additional contributions for its programs, service and projects. Tax receipts for Canadian and US residents are available for eligible donations valued at $10.00 or more made to BHHT Inc as a registered charity.
Revenue Canada Agency has specific requirements for donations of goods and services. Please contact information@battleharbour.com to discuss this option.
